Named Fellowships
Sponsor a Scholar
A Named Fellowship allows you or your organization to establish a lasting legacy of scholarship in the name of a loved one, a community leader, or in your own name. Your gift directly supports a fellow for one full academic year — funding their stipend, research travel, and access to IARC's archival resources.
"The worth of a man is what he does well."
— Imam Ali (a.s.)
Named Fellowships for a permanent, endowed fellowship that supports one scholar every year in perpetuity. Each named fellowship is celebrated in our annual report, on our website, and at our annual gala. Gifts of this nature are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
What You Get
Sponsorship Benefits
Choose the area of IARC's work you'd like to support:
Named Recognition
Your gift establishes a permanent, named scholarship in the recipient of your choosing. The fellow's published work will acknowledge your support, and the fellowship will be listed by name in all IARC program materials for the duration of your endowment.
Fellow Updates
Named Fellowship sponsors receive personal correspondence from their fellow at the beginning and end of the fellowship year, including a summary of research accomplishments, publications in progress, and the impact of the fellowship on their scholarly career.
VIP Event Access
Named Fellowship sponsors receive complimentary invitations to all IARC events, including our Annual Gala, the Imam Ali Lecture, and closed scholarly seminars. Priority seating and reserved tables at signature events are available for founding and endowed sponsors.
Tax Deductibility
The Imam Ali Research Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All charitable gifts, including Named Fellowship pledges, are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by U.S. law. A formal gift acknowledgment letter will be provided for your records.
